Is it acceptable to use a brokerage statement instead of a bank statement for a Thai visa application?

Been hearing mixed reviews on submitting a brokerage vs a bank statement depending on consulate. I have 150k or so sitting in a Scheab brokerage and I decided to try it rather than sell and move it.

I’ll keep this group updated on how it goes. I submitted through the DC consulate.

TLDR : Answer Summary
There are mixed reviews about using brokerage statements in place of bank statements for Thai visa applications, depending on the consulate. The user submitted a statement from Scheab brokerage through the DC consulate and plans to share updates on the outcome. Recent comments indicate that others have had success with brokerage accounts as well, and the liquidity of such accounts is acknowledged.
