Hi, wonder if you could offer some advice. We are arriving on a single entry non O visa hoping to extend based on us being over 50yr. We were just wondering should we buy a cheap/throw away ticket to keep check in happy? TIA

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice regarding the necessity of a throwaway ticket when entering Thailand on a single entry Non-O visa, especially for those over 50 years old. A comment from another user suggests that there is no requirement for onward travel tickets when entering on this type of visa, as passport control does not typically inquire about such tickets.

you will not be asked for onward travel coming in on a Non-Immigrant type visa. They won't say anything to you at passport control.
