Hi! I have done my Non O retirement visa renewal 2 too times using the statement of the pension income issued by my embassy. Is it still the same? I've heard they are asking for a complet year of money transfers into a Thai bank account. Thanks
Answer summary
The post inquires whether a complete year of money transfers into a Thai bank account is necessary for renewing a Non O retirement visa, having previously used a pension income statement from their embassy. The comments clarify that if an affidavit of income is provided from the embassy, typically it's not required to show a year's worth of transfers unless the embassy does not issue such documents. In cases where monthly income is used for the visa renewal, proof of the past year's transfers might be necessary.

They shouldn't be asking for that because you're using the affidavit of income embassy notary letter and if you're from a country whose embassy here still issues that document that's about all you need (although some want to see how you get that money, pension, etc). The only time you have to show a year of incoming transfers is if your embassy doesn't issue the income letter and you're using monthly income method by international transfer method <- that's where you show the 65K baht a month transfers for the previous 12 months. Certainly go to your immigration office before your extension is due an see what's what..

If you use the embassy letter as proof of funds for your extension there's not even a written requirement that you bring a single baht into the country during the previous year :O
