Is a hotel invoice sufficient to prove I'm out of the country for a DTV application?

Hi, I'm planning applying for a DTV from KL. So I'll spend a couple of weeks in a hotel there. Does anyone know if an invoice/receipt from the hotel is sufficient evidence of being out of the country? If not, what evidenec would work/

Thanks in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for a DTV visa from Kuala Lumpur, an invoice or receipt from your hotel may not be sufficient alone to demonstrate that you are outside of your home country. Other recommended evidence includes your boarding pass and the passport entry stamp upon arrival in Malaysia.
