Dear all Regarding the 500k bhat financial prove. Incase the money have been settled in a certificate of deposit for three months duration time which is flexible and can be withdrawn any time " the money have been in account for long time just some times I buy certificate of deposit for intrest earns". Will it be acceptable to submit as a financial prove.

Infact in the time of applying for DTV visa which is next month the money will be already withdrawn automatically from the certificate of deposit.

Additionally I have a car and bike in Thailand will it help if attaching the blue books with the application to avoid any rejections

I tried calling the thai empassy to enquire but unfortunately couldnt reach them Anyone have information or have applied with similar situation? Please advice

Thanks and best regards

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquired about using a certificate of deposit that holds 500,000 baht as financial proof for a DTV visa application, particularly since the funds will be withdrawn before applying. They also asked if vehicle ownership documents could support their application. Responses emphasized that embassies typically prefer active personal bank account transactions over 3-6 months and that while vehicle ownership might demonstrate ties to Thailand, it would not substitute for meeting financial requirements.

The embassy wants to see activity over 3-6 months within a personal bank account with a closing balance of 500K. Owning a bike and car can help show your ties to Thailand but it will not help to overlook your failure to comply with the financials. Where are you applying?
