TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around the number of single entry tourist visas one can obtain for Thailand in succession. While legally there is no set limit, practical experiences suggest that obtaining more than one can be challenging, with many facing increased scrutiny after the first visa, resulting in difficulties with approvals for subsequent visas.

Legally unlimited, but in reality most people are not getting approved for more than 1 lately sounds like, or their 2nd is issued for only 30 days and/or with warning stamp.

Your allowed 60 days per year in the kingdom as a “tourist” so 1 would be the answer.

yes. It depends on many factors such as entry point and IO and how he/she is feeling.

Spreading lies is getting recurrent in this group. 60 days per year, lol, I know people who have been here 10 years+ on tourist and visa-exempt, they just need to avoid DMK, Phuket, and Poipet while entering, while knowing which consulate are SETV friendly, which seems to change often. For example, a few years ago it was a bit tough in Kuala Lumpur, now it is a piece of cake. Vientiane and Savannakhet... the opposite.

Legally or in reality?

Getting the visa is one issue and it is increasing in difficulty after just two or three visas these days...

Getting in in another issue... 😏
