The number of Non-B visas you can obtain in a year in Thailand isn't strictly limited by a specific rule. Generally, if you lose your job and are eligible for a new job with the required documentation, you may apply for a new Non-B visa. However, policies may vary based on the Thai consulate. It's crucial to be aware of your visa status and the specifics related to your employment to ensure a smooth visa application process.

In case you do not want to work any more or get fired:
Step 1, get your last day of work in a company letter
Step 2, visit the Ministry of Labor and cancel your work permit
Step 3: visit the Immigration and cancel if you have the Extension of Stay.
Step 4: Leave the country on the new last day of the Extension of Stay permitted up to ../../.. or your initial entry Admitted until ../../..
Step 1: You get documents from your school, you visit a Thai Consulate and apply for the Non Immigrant B visa.
Step 2: When back into Thailand you go first to the Ministry of Labor and pick up your Work Permit, your employer did the application for it and you provided copies for that.
Step 3: With in one pocket your passport with Non Immigrant B visa and in the other pocket your Work Permit you make your way to the school to start working.
If you change order in the steps things go wrong.

Ok, what's going on? I don't understand.
1. You're asking about transferring work permits to a new school.
a. What's your current visa status? Do you have a valid Non-B visa ("the sticker") OR an extension of stay based on employment ("The stamp")
b. Have you quit your current job? If you have, had you canceled your current extension and left Thailand already?
c. Do you work for an agency, and the agency is sending you to different schools?
2. For the Non-B visas.
a. Different consulates have different rules. What consulate do you, or the school, want you to go to?
I have a non b with the extension on it . But I’m gonna have to find a new job after February 28 . By then I will have been in Thailand for 11 months . I’m a direct hire threw this school . It’s my second school in Thailand

You need to cancel the current WP and get a new one with the new employer unless the current employer stays as your primary one and new employer gonna be a secondary working place.

There really isn't a rule of how many you can get. I mean IF you have one based on employment now, and then lose your job or quit you can go get a new Non-B with documentation from a new employer but sometimes you can't do it at the same thai consulate where you got the first one

For what purpose?
How many months were you in Thailand in 2019?
Are you in Thailand now?
