TLDR : Answer Summary
The grace period to stay in Thailand after a work permit is cancelled varies based on your visa type. If you are on a Non Immigrant B visa and are within the initial 90 days of your stay, you can remain until the end of that period. However, if you are on an extension of stay, there may be no grace period, meaning you would be in overstay immediately after your last working day and the end of your work permit validity.

If you are inside Thailand using the big stamp from Immigration, Extension of Stay permitted up to to last day of working or the last day of validity of your work permit you are in overstay directly after your last day of working

If you are on an extension of stay NONE...

It depends, if you are inside Thailand on the first 90 days of your Admitted to Stay, you got on entry after buying the Non Immigrant B visa at a Thai Consulate you can stay until the last day
