UPDATE: Approved after 10 working days. Thanks all :)

It's been 10 days since submitting my application but it's still showing 'pending document checks'... is this normal?

FYI: Applying through London consulate for a Non O.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user asked if it's normal for their Non-O visa application, submitted through the London consulate, to still show 'pending document checks' after 10 days. Community responses indicated that delays are common due to high application volumes, with typical processing times ranging from 10 days to several weeks. Yes, if they wanted or want anything more they will be in touch but it's normal now, especially as they are flooded with applications under the present chaos.

Mine took 5 weeks at London embassy. End of November to Xmas Eve. Don't panic, they're on it. if there was an issue they'd have been in touch.

It took about 3 weeks for mine to be approved out of the London consulate and that was last October. Plus the telephone line is useless, it’s never answered.
