TLDR : Answer Summary
A user applied for a Non-O visa with their Thai wife in Vientiane, Laos, on January 28 and has faced delays after submitting additional documents on February 2. Responses from the community suggest various timelines for visa processing, typically ranging from 5 to 14 working days, but also indicate potential delays due to backlogs from elections. The user is advised to be patient as processing times can vary.

They told me seven to fourteen days , but it was done in eight ! So if they now have all information it shouldn't take long now !

They probably have a bit of a backlog as they closed for a few days to allow Thais to vote. Closed again on the 9th to count the votes
