Hello all! My wife and I are traveling to Thailand on July 5th. We submitted for our Tourist Visa yesterday, July 13th. We live in the United States (Florida) and submitted our applications to the Washington D.C. Thai Embassy.

I’m worried about the timing. Will we get our tourist visas in time?

Thank you!

You would get a Visa on Arrival.. Thai Pass also took only 3 days (online)

How long will you be in Thailand? No visa needed for USA if you stay less than 30 days….

I’m from Florida and have used the DC embassy before. They’re very slow and will tell you 14 days before traveling. Best way to contact them is thru Facebook message. Keep checking your email in the past they have always asked for additional information.

I applied on June 1st and it was approved on June 8th...but I went through the Chicago Consulate.

Usually takes 1-2 weeks if you did everything correctly, so you should be okay. But even if you don't get it, you can just enter visa exempt. Less than ideal if you're looking to stay for a while, but at least it won't force you to change your flights.
