Hello all! My wife and I are traveling to Thailand on July 5th. We submitted for our Tourist Visa yesterday, July 13th. We live in the United States (Florida) and submitted our applications to the Washington D.C. Thai Embassy.
I’m worried about the timing. Will we get our tourist visas in time?
Thank you!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is concerned about receiving their Tourist Visa for Thailand before their trip on July 5th. Comments suggest that the processing usually takes 1-2 weeks, with varying experiences from others. Some users recommend checking frequently for updates and mention alternatives like entering visa exempt if the visa isn't received on time.
I’m from Florida and have used the DC embassy before. They’re very slow and will tell you 14 days before traveling. Best way to contact them is thru Facebook message. Keep checking your email in the past they have always asked for additional information.
Usually takes 1-2 weeks if you did everything correctly, so you should be okay. But even if you don't get it, you can just enter visa exempt. Less than ideal if you're looking to stay for a while, but at least it won't force you to change your flights.
