How Easy Is It to Apply for an ED Visa at the Thai Consulate in Bali?

I received an ED visa at the consulate in Bali, school is hand2hand combat in Chiang Mai. Had 6 visa exempt stamps in my passport from the last three years. Easiest visa application process I’ve ever done. Absolutely nobody else was at the consulate when I dropped off my passport on Monday, just one gentleman who was working there. He took all my documents and passport no questions asked. Picked up passport Thursday, place was completely empty, he remembered who I was and handed me my passport right when I walked in.

My apologies if this type of post is not allowed but would have given me a lot of reassurance had I known how lax it was at the consulate in Bali.

I did use it also in 2017 for a SETV, absolutely no questions asked and no one in the consulate besides me. Although they scared me a bit, only got my passport back on my flight day, had been 3 days nudging them and they kept telling me tomorrow, tomorrow... Eventually it worked out alright, but food for thought. They don't seem to operate at a high clip!

Thanx for the update, so few people actually use the thai consulate in Bali that it's good to hear there weren't any issues and how it went. (y)

I read the group description and still wasn’t completely sure if posts like this were allowed. Just knew it would have given me reassurance so thought I’d make a post anyway.

Pavel Antipin reported...

"Success in Bali 10 days ago with paperwork from H2H. First visa to Thailand in new passport with 2 visa exempt stamps."

And Craig Irwin...you even replied at the time...

"I am getting an ED visa through hand2hand as well. Originally was going to go to Taipei but am being told to go to Bali as well. Happy to hear someone recently had success in Bali."
