Just a report of a visit to Vientiane Consulate. I went for my (first) ED Visa for Thai Language.
Tuesday showed up at 8:45, get the from and sit in queue, around 60-70 people by the moment. Get number 96, they reviewed all my paperwork from school, photocopies, etc and I was out at 10:15.
Today they began to process queue at 1:30 sharp, my #96 was called at 2:05 so today in and out in less than 40 minutes.
As usual in this Consulate, zero problems or hassle, staff kind and everything very organized. I never had a problem or long wait here - but of course I never come the days the agencies do.
Tomorrow will update regarding the border crossing at Nong Khai - yes, I'll spend one more day here... I like so much Vientiane and I know I'm weird because of it 😅
=== UPDATE ===
Just crossed the border, no problems. Everything smooth. He didn't ask for the 3 proofs - anyway I had everything, just in case. Stamped until end of January - people, remember to check the stamp in site! 😉
