Does anyone know if it's possible to get an extension of the 1 year entry stamp for an Elite Visa holder? I have until October 20th on mine as I last entered Thailand on Oct 21 last year. My 5 year Elite doesn't expire until July 2024 (+ hopefully the 6 months added to it for free as we all got) so plenty of time on it but the thought of having to try to leave the country and re-enter this year doesn't sound realistic.

TLDR : Answer Summary
An Elite Visa holder can indeed extend their 1-year entry stamp by visiting the immigration office when they have 45 days or less remaining on their current stamp. For this individual, this means they can apply for the extension anytime after September 5th, leading up to their deadline.

You can indeed go to the immigration office and get a year extension on your year entry stamp from your Elite visa

You can do it in bangkok when you have 45 days or less left on your current entry stamp SO any time AFTER Sept 5th for you.

Talk to Elite about the "free 6 months" that's their deal

or what ever immigration office is in your area. They all know how the elite works you either leave/re-enter or go to the office and pay 1900baht to get a year extension.

I know people on the 5 year elite who have NEVER left thailand and just go get yearly extensions :)

oh wow ok that's even better. I will ask them. Actually they told me last year when I first arrived that mine was the first they had seen there but not sure if that's just the 3 ladies working that day or really no one else in the area has one yet.

most offices allow you to get a new extension when you have 30 days left on your current entry stamp SO wait it out, see what's what and go to the immigration office for your extension if you can't get out and back to get a new entry stamp.
