How does re-entering Thailand after an expired visa work?

Jul 12, 2025
I just re entered Thailand after my 180 days expired. I went to Singapore for a 4 day holiday.

No issues at Thai immigration at the airport.

I presented a copy of my DTV. And passport that was it. Stamped for another 180 days.

What passport country do you have?

It’s how it should be, they already know you have a DTV from your tdac online form. I believe this is helping to facilitate quicker entry and even faster for those DTV holders 👌

the DTV is valid for 5 years.

You can enter Thailand for 180 days but have to check in every 90 days . You can extend for another 180 days in a calendar year.

That’s what I’ve done
