How complicated is it to extend the "covid emergency" visa (I don't know the actual name of it) at Chiang Mai immigration?
Is it still 1900 baht for 2 extra months? Do they require any particular documents?
And do they give the under consideration stamp or just 2 months straight away.
Thank you in advance to whoever will try to help :)

TLDR : Answer Summary
Extending the COVID emergency visa in Chiang Mai involves a few steps. It still costs 1900 baht for an additional two months. You will need standard documents such as passport copies, a photo, the TM30 form, and any other forms provided at the immigration office. Be prepared for the 'under consideration' stamp, which is common in Chiang Mai. It's recommended to visit the Chiang Mai immigration office to verify the current requirements and deadlines, as these can frequently change.
If you are shopping for a Thai immigration office... Be careful. They may ask you to return to the last office you obtained an extension from. Go to the office where you live and have a registered address.
What visa and or extension do you now have in your passport?
The answer to this question is important as it may affect what you can do and where...
Chiang Mai is a yes for the annoying “under consideration”, unfortunately. Usual documents (passport copies, image, TM30 and forms they give you). No embassy letter. At least it was like that.
