TLDR : Answer Summary
To confirm if your Thai visa is legitimate, you can follow several steps: 1) Upon arrival in Thailand, immigration officers can verify your visa details in their system. 2) Contact your visa agent to request the approval email. 3) Ask your agent for login details to the Thai e-Visa portal, where you can download your visa confirmation. 4) You can also check the QR code on your visa; however, some users have reported issues with QR code verification. 5) If still in doubt, contact the Thai embassy or consulate that issued your visa to confirm its authenticity.

Request the login details to the visa portal. There you will be able to download the copy of visa yourself so you know its legitimate

Pardon me but something is VERY suspicious....

DID YOU personally submit your application for the DTV visa in a. Country OUTSIDE of Thailand?

Which Thai Embassy or Consulate did you submit the DTV visa application using the Evisa online application system?

DID YOU STAY IN THAT COUNTRY until the decision was known from the Thai Embassy or Consulate?

Where are you now ?

What is your passport nation?

For what purpose did you submit the DTV visa application?

Workcation or soft power activity?

If soft power activity, which one?

some people make deals with agents that payment will be accepted once visa approval is done. In such cases the agent will apply under own email hence customer will not know about updates.

Please request the agent to provide the account email and password that use to apply your application to Thai e visa website. So you can see there.

sadly some agents don’t want to give that application information. Idk why. I asked some people who used agents that they let you know how the information provided, they said no. 😐

there is people without all paperwork and there are agents with contacts still will be able to get the DTV... And it also isn't true that you have to stay in the country until approval. Maybe if you play fully after the textbook , but obviously this is still Asia.

I totally disagree with you. This forum is not to be lessons on how to skirt the rules of Thai Immigration. It's how to help get the DTV visa legally.

The Agent contacts has nothing to do with obtaining a DTV visa. The keys to getting the DTV visa is the APPLICATION with needed supporting documents to the Thai Embassy or Consulate in a country outside of Thailand.

AND when the applicant submits the DTV visa application using the Evisa online application system, it's done not in Thailand, and the applicant is to stay in the country where applied until the decision is known.

There are agents who offer to help with the online Evisa application system in prep for submission of the application.

The role of the agent with the DTV visa is totally different from the in-country Thai Visa services available.

you don't need to agree with me , I actually absolutely don't care. Also don't need to write a whole book. I just said , there is other ways people choose. And just because you don't do that , that's up to you.

Also , I never said you don't have to be outside of Thailand for the application, but you don't need to wait in the same place where you applied for.

which is fine...but I think sometimes you should tone yourself down a bit. I've seen many of your responses and maybe you take your group expert badge a bit to serious.

I just said , there is many ways to Rome and which one people choose in the end is their own decision. Keep it calm , keep it easy. Life's good. peace ✌️

And a little tip for your communication skills... A word written in CAPSLOCK doesn't make you more right or whatever you try to achieve by that. Have a nice day sir.

that’s the main reason why I didn’t use agents. But looks like OP hasn’t met with good agent.

When you arrive at the airport, you'll go through immigration. The officer will have your visa details in the system. If not then...

what do you mean with "my QR code has never worked"?

Or do you mean I don't know how a QR code works?

When scanned it should be just the same text as printed below the QR code, very simple.
