TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around a query about options for a visa run from Korat. The user is looking for transportation options and costs to the border, either to Chong Chom or Poi Pet. Responses indicate there are likely minibuses, regular buses, or train services available for these distances, with suggestions of using service apps like Grab Taxi or possibly a flight. A clarification regarding the nature of the visit indicates the individual needs a 'border bounce' for a 30-day visa exempt entry.

its only 208 KM to Chong Chom I'm sure there is a minibus, regular bus, or Train, to the border that leaves hourly...or if he wants to go to Poi Pet its only 234 KM so I'm guessing the same Minibus, bus, or Train that can get him there for a nominal fee...if not I'm sure a car service is available...Grab Taxi is great and maybe Uber is there...or maybe he wants to Fly Out/In

Sorry, after I read that post from What's On Korat I deleted it because it was old and had bad info.

I personally don't know if any visa run companies in Korat that lug people to the border. Although I am sure there must be.
he could come down to bangkok, and use one of the services here, OR fly out and back in. Sorry I can't be more helpful.

Is he wanting to go on a "visa-run" where you go to a thai consulate in another country and BUY a visa for thailand?
OR
Is he wanting to go on a "border-bounce" where you go to the border, stamp out of thailand, stamp in&out of another country and then stamp back into thailand to get a 30 day visa exempt entry or to activate another entry on a valid multi-entry visa?
it makes a difference ;)
