Hello, I am moving to Hua Hin with my husband. He will be applying for a 50+ visa. Do we need anything besides a marriage certificate with translation and apostille? The consulate in our country asks for a medical certificate, a certificate of no criminal record, and others. Are there any changes?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is moving to Hua Hin and inquires about requirements for a 50+ visa application for her husband. They mention the necessity of a marriage certificate with translation and apostille, but comments suggest that a marriage certificate may not be needed for the Non-O visa if financial requirements are met. There are also clarifications about different 50+ visa types available and the need for additional documents such as a medical certificate and a certificate of no criminal record as requested by their home country consulate.

There is no marriage certificate needed for an over 50 (retirement) Non-O visa, just meet the financial requirements etc. You are looking at an Embassy issued Non-OA but the Non-O may be more suitable, check it out.

Are you applying in your home country and if so which visa are you applying for, there are at least 4 visas available for those age 50+ in that situation. If not where will he apply? And what about you?
