TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around applying for a retirement TYPE O visa for Thailand, specifically for an individual in Australia. Users provided links to official visa application sites and mentioned the option to apply through Thai consulates in Sydney or Canberra. Additionally, there was a suggestion for the OX visa and some commentary on the community's response to the original inquiry.

apologizes the rudeness, haven’t been to Chiang Rai but heard, careful jungle/ thick forest exploring - some mosquitoes carry dengue fever & guessing it’s the ones with spotted bright colors. The rest of Thailand is safe (maybe not Phangnra national forest) from malaria & dengue.

I have no idea, it likely depends on the visa type you're applying for and how thorough your initial document submission was. Any requests for further documents will delay the process.
