Has the COVID extension for visas in Thailand been officially extended until December 31?
did they finally confirm that they extend the covid extension until dec 31?
Summary so far
The conversation discusses the uncertainty surrounding the official extension of the COVID visa extension until December 31. While one user mentions seeing a government statement regarding the extension, others note that no official confirmation has been made yet. Additionally, there are queries about the application locations for the COVID extension, indicating a shift from Chang Wattana to Muang Thani depending on the type of entry visa.

Hi, just wondering - did they change where we can apply for the covid extension from Chang Wattana to Muang Thani?

Hi Ben, thanks for the response. I did initially enter on exempt but switched to smart visa then that expired and I did the extension. I guess that would be on exempt then?

IF you entered on a 30 day visa exempt, you would us Muang Thong Thani. If you entered on a 60 day tourist visa, you would use Chang Wattana. Michael ********
Nothing official yet
