TLDR : Answer Summary
In Jakarta, if you pay for your visa application and are told to return after four days, it does not guarantee approval. You may either receive your passport with the approved visa or have it returned without the visa if your application is denied. Additionally, it is important to note that the Thai consulate in Jakarta will stop accepting in-person visa applications on November 21st and will resume on November 26th with an eVisa online system.

also remember the thai consulate in Jakarta will STOP accepting in person visa applications on the 21st (that's this thursday) that's the last day you can apply in person.
Then they will close and not accept any applications until the 26th when they go live on the eVisa online system

Nope, it doesn't mean you're approved just because you applied and paid
it means you come back on that date and they either give you the passport back with the visa in it
OR
they deny you and give the passport back without the visa in it
