TLDR : Answer Summary
Several expats shared their experiences regarding recent Thai visa applications, noting that they were approved without being requested for additional information. Many emphasized the importance of submitting comprehensive documentation initially to avoid follow-up requests. Locations of application varied, including Sydney, Cambodia, and Hanoi, with some approvals happening within days.

It was much easier when the visa first came out IMHO. Now there are all sorts of variations depending what subject you are filing under and where you are filing.

Screenshots and porfolia need to look decent, as i know off people, who where rejected, anyone in tech, is an easy example, they do not care if you do only code, but expect a professional porfolia, so take your time, do research on it and present it to a high quality with a statement or paragraph on the slide

Yes, but how is that relevant to your case? Anyone can be asked for additional documents or even an interview.

Anonymous participant 360 Just wanted to see which places seem to process pretty quickly and what each applicant provided. sure each case is different, but having a bit of insight as to which places are pretty efficient in processing, what's been provided will help the rest of the group.

Apply in your homecountry, they know how the documents issued in that country looks like, and are available.

Then you will also save travel expenses to a 3. country, where you don't want to be, for the duration of the visa process.

Nicer to stay in your home and wait for the unknown period the visa process will take.

Travelling at the minute, so picked a neighbouring country. They asked me for 2 additional documentation within same day, but that's about it. I hope it gets granted by next week.🤞
