How long does it take for a Thai visa application to be approved at the Canberra Embassy?

Just sharing some details regarding my successful application:

Location: Canberra Embassy

Applied: June 20th

Stayed on Pending Document Check until July 1st, before changing to Pending Approval

Approved: July 14th

The approval came the day after I emailed the embassy, however this could be coincidental as my intended departure date was less than a week away so it was due to be approved/rejected shortly anyway.

I applied with a 6 month Muay Thai course @ Bangkok Fight Lab.

For proof of activity they provided me with 12 or so documents which i simply compiled.

For proof of location, I showed my Australian drivers license.

For proof of funds I showed a 6 month bank statement showing over 500k baht plus two screenshots of the currency conversions at the first/last day of the bank statement.

I didn’t bother writing any cover letters, or any declarations regarding employment, how I will support myself, etc.

The application was just the bare essentials requested, and no further documents were requested.
