Hey Everyone,

**1 . Financial evidence: amount of no less than 500,000 THB, e.g. bank statements, sponsorship letter (Please upload a current bank statement with your name)

**Does this have to be in THB? I'm in Canada, and I showed them my account which has a lot more than 500k THB, but in Canadian Currency, but it came back asking for same thing.

Any ideas?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The financial evidence for your Thai visa application does not necessarily need to be submitted in Thai Baht (THB) if you are using Canadian currency. Many users in similar situations have successfully submitted their bank statements showing amounts greater than 500,000 THB in Canadian dollars, with the Thai authorities able to convert the currency themselves. It's important to provide a clear bank statement, preferably from a checking or savings account, to ensure compliance with the requirements.

Canadian Currency in a chequing or savings account. Mine was in a saving in Tang. Bank for Ottawa.

Money must be in a checking account, no investments.

What did you originally supply? A bank statement?

How did you show? Some people only show a screenprint, and of course that is not accepted.

I just got approved in Vancouver and just sent the most recent statement in Canadian Currency.

I received my DTV from the Canadian consulate in Vancouver. I simply gave them a copy of my most recent bank statement showing >500K THB in CAD. They are able to do the conversion themselves, no need to show in THB.

It’s ok just send it Canadian currency bank statement with latest update. If ur bank don’t give latest update, just send together with screenshot of current bank account.
