TLDR : Answer Summary
There seems to be conflicting information regarding whether a child under 15 years old needs a visa for studying at an international school in Thailand. One source states that children of this age do not require a visa or extension, while another emphasizes the necessity of applying for an education visa within 21 days. It's suggested that children under 15 cannot be fined for overstaying, which complicates the situation further.

She could also get an extension as your dependent, assuming you have an extension of stay.

Officially every foreigner need to be in Thailand using the stay they got with the visa or on an Extension of Stay.

Children until the age of 15 years can not be fined, so many times the idea was let them overstay.
