For Vientiane DTV applications, bank letters/certificates/accounts must be in English or Thai, so translation is necessary if they're not. Thai bank accounts are accepted (we used our Thai bank accounts). Note bank accounts need to have been seasoned for 3 months. Most applicants will have an interview, but some have reported approval without one. You cannot leave Laos while your application is being processed. Interviews are usually short-notice, with results sent by email the same day.
LongTimeLivingInThailand thank you so much for your information! Can I ask one more? I saw many people don't recommend thai bank account, you have it for so long? Have you worked in Thailand before?
