I understand if I fly into Thailand I get a 30 day stamp on my US passport. I was wondering if I take a bus or car across the border entering Thailand if the stamp will still be 30 days or if it will be 15 days.

TLDR : Answer Summary
When entering Thailand, US passport holders receive a 30-day visa stamp if they arrive by air or land. Therefore, whether you fly into Thailand or enter via bus or car, you will still receive a 30-day visa stamp upon entry.
