TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for a visa as a remote worker, it is generally not required to show an actual flight ticket. Many embassies allow applicants to provide an anticipated arrival flight number instead. However, this can vary depending on the specific embassy's policies, so it's best to check their requirements. You primarily need to demonstrate that you are not currently in Thailand and that you are applying from the country where the embassy is located.

You can provide an anticipated arrival flight number. Most embassies won't require an actual ticket

You don't have to show entry to Thailand. Just proof you are not in Thailand and that you are in the country of the embassy you are applying from

Depends on the embassy you apply from. Many do not buy some do.
