Hi guys - question about the 90 day report for DTV holder

I entered Thailand on my DTV August 15th

I then left for a work trip October 14th

Do my 90 days re-set if I have left within 90 days?

I just want to know if I am supposed to do my 90 day report now for the August entry...or if I have to do it sometime in January for the October entry

Thanks in advance!

TLDR : Answer Summary
A DTV visa holder should report their stay every 90 days based on their most recent entry into Thailand. The 90 days resets upon exiting the country. Thus, after a temporary departure for a work trip, the holder must wait to report until they have spent 90 consecutive days in Thailand since re-entering.

You are reporting 90 consecutive days in Thailand. You only report if you have spent 90 consecutive days in Thailand otherwise the 90 days resets upon each entry.

Resets on exit.

to elaborate on Pete's comment, since your initial stay was under 90 days you wouldn't file the 90 day report. Once you visit Thailand again, then the 90 days starts from that date.

thank you!

So in theory...if i leave once every 90 days i never have to do the 90 day report?

yes, that's my understanding... However doing that defeats the purpose of having a DTV which allows staying up to 180 days per entry to Thailand lol
