Is the TM30 submission the same as the 90-day check-in for foreigners in Thailand?

ORIGINAL POSTER
Hello all, I returned to Thailand on May 27th. the apartment staff did an on-line TM30 on that date. My date for a 90 day check in was on June 1st. I didn't check in because I'm under the impression that the TM30 is the same as checking in. Am I right, or should I go to the immigration office tomorrow?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking clarification on whether completing the TM30 online is sufficient for fulfilling the 90-day check-in requirement, or if they need to visit the immigration office for further compliance.
