TLDR : Answer Summary
You can obtain the freedom to marry document from either the UK Embassy in your home country or at the UK Embassy in Bangkok. However, it is important to have the document translated into Thai, and an affidavit verifying your eligibility to marry is also required. Several users have confirmed that they completed the process successfully at the Bangkok embassy, and it is advisable to make an online appointment for a smoother experience.
If already in Thailand it's the UK Embassy in Bangkok, make an online appointment for the service you require. Easier to do before you travel though to avoid Bangkok.

I got mine from the Bangkok embassy. It was a simple process and didn't take long
you need the original divorce paper, but you can get the freedom to marry document from the UK Embassy in Bangkok. Make an appointment online. You then need to get it translated.

Iโm Australian and did it all from the Embassy. All documents were translated to Thai before submitting
yes and you will need to fill out and have translated an affirmation of freedom to marry which is essentially a Statutory Declaration. Divorce papers or court order stating the same will need to be translated and presented to your embassy also. Hope this helps, all the best
