Do I need to keep checking the portal for my Thai visa application status after submission?

Just submitted my application through Thai london embassy, on their portal it states “submitted” and status says “processing pending document check” - I’ve had no confirmation email or anything though. Do I need to keep returning to the portal to check the status of my application or will I get an email?

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user recently submitted their visa application via the Thai embassy in London and noticed the status as 'processing pending document check' without receiving any confirmation email. Community members suggested checking the portal regularly for status updates and mentioned that the London embassy typically processes applications quickly, often within 7 business days.

I got an email. But check portal periodically.

Check for the status and any requests for additional docs. London approves fairly quickly often within 7 business days.
