American O-A retirement. Will I need proof of insurance to get a reentry permit at CW tomorrow? If so will my insurance card, I carry in my wallet, be enough? Will they validate the re-entry permit till the end of my extension (Nov 2020) or only until the renewal date of my insurance (june2020). I will be out of country when my insurance renews. What form of proof of insurance will I need to get back in the country? TIA

TLDR : Answer Summary
The consensus among community members indicates that you do not require proof of health insurance to obtain a reentry permit for an American O-A visa in Thailand. Reentry permits are issued for the duration of your current stay stamp and not contingent upon your insurance renewal.

Re-entry permits are always issued for the duration of your current admitted to stay stamp.

IF you got the O-A visa before Oct 31 there is a good chance you will not be asked for anything when you stamp back into the country.

There is no need for health insurance proof to buy a re-entry permit.
