Can you reclaim VAT on purchases when leaving Thailand with a Tourist Visa?
Given we are regularly reminded a DTV is a ‘Tourist Visa’ has anyone had any success reclaiming their VAT on purchases as they depart Thailand.
I’d be most interested if people had experiences leaving from Phuket as I suspect airports may differ.
