Can I use separate accounts to show funds for a DTV visa in Thailand?

Hi, just for clarification.

To the ones already holding a DTV.

A ) Can the 500.000 be in a savings account?

As in, can I show two separate accounts for both- the last six months freelance income and the 500.000 baht deposited somewhere?

Both are in my name.

Or, B ) Does it all need to be the same account?

C ) Has anyone successfully listed a sponsor, or would you not recommend this?

Thank you 🙏

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post seeks clarification on whether the required 500,000 baht for a DTV visa in Thailand can be held in a separate savings account from the income, as well as questions about sponsorship options. Comments confirm that funds in different personal accounts are acceptable as long as they are in the applicant's name and accessible. It's also noted that sponsorship is limited to immediate family or one's employer.

Can’t answer for sponsor but in terms of a savings account that’s fine as long as it’s your name and address. Personally I would submit evidence of both, a savings and your day to day so they can see you’re good either way.

I submitted savings, and day to day with closing balance highlighted in yellow to show over 500,000 THB and salary deposits highlighted in green just to show regular income.

Fixed term savings accounts are no good but if instant access savings that's fine. Two accounts are also OK. Sponsorship has to be either an immediate family member or the company you work for

as long as the savings account is instantly accessable and in your name (not a business acc) and not locked then yes
