TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, you can use 800,000 THB in a Thai bank account as proof of funds to apply for a Non-O retirement visa from outside Thailand, as long as the bank account is in your name. While some embassies may request a bank statement covering the last three months, the requirement for a two-month statement is generally applicable only for one-year extensions of stay within Thailand.

Barath Faust yes you can get a .pdf printout of your last account standings in your online banking App, and this is all you need to upload into the e-visa application. It does NOT matter WHERE in the World your account is, it only matters that you can show it is in your sole name
Jean Pacquement You missed the topic! For a Non-O visa application outside of Thailand you do not need the 2-months bank statement! That is a requirement when you apply for the one-year extension of stay! Most embassies, however, will ask for the upload into the E-Visa application of 3 months account standings, with the last standing being a minimum of 800,000 THB

Soulseeker Dolphlee there is no more consulate in Hull. London is handling e-visa applications. You advice must be about situations already 10 years ago . . stop wasting our time
Soulseeker Dolphlee your wires are crossed. There is no bank letter requirement to apply for a Non-O visa through the London Thai embassy. He even isn't inside Thailand, so where would he get that bank statement from? All you need is 3 months of account standings pdf printout and upload these into the e-visa application. Of course the printouts should bear your name clearly indicating that the account is in your sole name. Your advice is complete rubbish
