TLDR : Answer Summary
The traveler inquired about the possibility of transferring between DMK and Suvarnabhumi Airport after arriving in Bangkok from Chiang Mai. Community responses confirmed that traveling between the airports is allowed, with options including taxis and a free shuttle bus, though the availability of the bus service may vary. Suggestions included checking the current status of the bus and using a taxi service, which was reported to be straightforward.

The bus runs regularly between the airports, takes about 45mins free, they will ask to see valid ticket for the other airport 'assuming they are running at the moment'
