Yes, you can bring your old dog to Thailand with a DTV visa, but it's not dependent on the visa type. There are specific quarantine rules that apply regardless of whether you have a visa or not. Make sure to have the necessary documents and health certificates, and check with the airline for their pet travel policies and crate requirements. Additionally, be aware that importing pets into Thailand may involve quarantine due to rabies regulations.
Depend if your dog is healthy enough to go on a longhaul flight . Mind be more then 24h and meets export /import -regulations

You have to wait until it dies unfortunately

Please remember it will be very costly and there will likely be a lengthy spell in quarantine for the dog if you ever decide to leave Thailand. Thailand is not considered rabies free so most countries will request some kind of quarantine for them on return trips.

Please clarify in advance whether the dog needs to be quarantined
Find a flight you like and then call the airline to ask about bringing your dog. If it’s a very small dog, you may be able to bring it in the cabin. Most dogs will have to go in cargo. You will need to give the crate size info to the airline when you reserve space for your dog. I’ve had a good experience with Korean Airlines.
Find a local vet who can issue a USDA health certificate if you’re in the U.S. Other countries will have their own health certificate authority. Start this process at least two months before you plan to travel.
Contact the Animal Quarantine office at the airport to apply for a Thai import permit.

Anonymous participant 444 that’s a long flight from USA. I considered it as well. But curious on the logistics. Did you use any medicine to sedate your dog?

Are you referring to a canine?

No visa but you need some documents... Don't come with your dog without the things needed.

You can, but that's not visa dependant. The same quarantine rules apply for everybody, visaless tourist or not.
