I have a retirement initially issued in 2012 in my South African passport. In 2015 I acquired British nationality and passport. I am considering getting an Elite visa and would prefer that it is issued in my British passport. Is this possible in country, rather than having to leave and come back?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring if it is possible to obtain a Thai Elite visa issued in their British passport while remaining in Thailand, after having initially entered the country with a South African passport under a retirement visa. A comment suggests that switching passports might not be feasible at the moment and recommends checking with Thai Elite and Thai Immigration for possible solutions, including a potential coordinated exit and re-entry.

And I assume you used your South African passport in your current entry to stay in

Thailand.

If so...I doubt that you can switch passports at this time.

Best you ask both Thai Elite and Thai Immigration.

Brainstorming ....

Maybe they can stamp you out at Thai Immigration Bangkok and stamp you back in with the Thai Elite visa at same time ???

Coordinated by Thai Elite and Thai Immigration ???

Good luck.
