We are looking to stay 6 months in Phuket, and are planing 2x tourist-visa + 2 extensions. One Tourist-visa from Sweden (home), and then a new one in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Would this work in today's Thai immigration? Can it be any issues with back to back tourist-visas? Many thanks!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user plans to stay in Phuket for 6 months using two tourist visas and two extensions, one obtained in Sweden and the other in Kuala Lumpur. They are inquiring about the feasibility of this plan given current Thai immigration regulations and whether there might be issues with back-to-back tourist visas. A commenter suggests getting a METV (Multi-entry Tourist Visa) instead, as it could allow for 6-9 months of stay effectively.
