While waiting for the visa processing, can we go back to Thailand ? Once we get the visa than come back to Vietnam to print and go back to Thailand ? Will my visa get cancelled? Because I’ve been staying here for 2 weeks now.

You can go back to Thailand, but you should not go back to Thailand during processing. Most times there will be no problems, but it can be a reason to reject your application.

The e-visa does not change the rules compared to the old proces.

The fact that you now can return because you did not hand in your passport does not change this.

I recently returned back to Thailand because my visa application was taking longer than expected. I stamped into Thailand as visa exempt, and surprisingly received the approval email that evening.
