I left Thailand on the 7th of this month (May 2026) am I allowed to travel back to thailand in 6 months (11th November 2026) without a visa? would I need a one for my 30 day stay?? Any help is much appreciated:)
Answer summary
The original poster is asking if they can re-enter Thailand after a 6-month absence without a visa for a 30-day stay. Responses indicate that if the traveler holds a passport from one of the 93 visa-exempt countries and has returned to their home country, they should be able to re-enter without a visa as a bona fide traveler. However, details regarding previous stays and entry frequencies over the last 12 to 18 months could impact this, and it is advisable to consult a professional regarding specific circumstances.

If it's 2 visits a year and 30 days or less, shouldn't be a problem. But consult a professional in Thailand first.
Leslie Henley it has now been confirmed as approved by cabinet. They just haven't announced the implementation date but there is also talk some some countries will only receive 14 days and not 30. It's a goof thing though. It will stop people abusing it by using multiple entries and spending more than half the year here.
Luc De Clerck same as me , never had a problem or ask for proof of funds but i do always travel business class so skip the standard immigration que and go to priority one instead
What passport are you on? did you return to your home country? If you are from one of the 93 "visa exempt" countries and returned home you will be seen as a "bona fide" traveller and entitled to exempt entry again.
I'd imagine to prevent people abusing the system by maximising there time in one year and rolling into the next year to get 2 x the maximum time. This is how it used to work at land borders so I guess they've learned from that.
