Hi guys
Did a 30 days exempt stamp on May - then an extension at Chiang Mai immigration and a run in Chiang Khong 30 days last month.
Going to Vientiane tomorrow on appointment with Thai embassy Monday for get a tourist visa.
I sill wonder if i absolutely need to do a visa or can i simply in and out and get 60 days exempt again since i read on my many posts that there isn't limit on it by land either.
I just had one run border this year.
Also as a proof on onward travel, can a bus ticket to Cambodia play to trick or is that best to book a flight ticket ?
Thanks guys.
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user has inquired about the possibility of reentering Thailand using the 60-day visa exemption after having already utilized it once this year along with an extension. Community feedback indicates that there's no formal limit on border runs, but it's advised to stay at least one night in the neighboring country (Laos) before returning to Thailand. Additionally, the user asks if a bus ticket to Cambodia suffices for proof of onward travel or if they should book a flight instead.
