Hello seeking some upto date advice please.

Married to a Thai, can i obtain a 1 yr multi entry type O visa by going to Savannaket. Told cost is 5k baht and they do not ask for 400k in bank, Is this the case or false. Please advise, right now im on a tourist stamp. Thank you tim
