Me and my wife both hold Thailand single entry visit visa, it's still valid since we haven't visited yet.
A week ago I applied for DTV from Jakarta. I read some information that you cannot hold 2 visas, can someone guide me if I need to cancel my visit visa right now? If so, what's the process? I applied while I was in Malaysia.
Thanks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking clarification on whether they need to cancel their valid Thailand single entry visit visa now that they have applied for a DTV while in Jakarta. There's confusion about holding two visas simultaneously, and community responses suggest that canceling may not be straightforward, with some advising to use the existing visa while others recommend checking with the consulate that issued it.
I don't think you can cancel it, perhaps at the consulate that issued it it may be possible. They could reject your DTV application or perhaps more likely sit on it until the tourist visa expires but that's a long time to sit in jakarta
I assume you informed Jskarta Embassy re you already holding a visa, when you applied for DTV ? It is a standard question. If you did, they will cancel it if they approve the DTV.
But he is meant to stay in the country of application of the DTV while it processes - a bit of a Catch-22 situation here. The Embassy can see on their system if they have enterede Thailand.
