Visa for fatherhood of a thai kid?
i have a 2 months old son. In the thai birth certificate is my name mentioned as the dad. the kid has also only my german surname, no thai name.
our marriage is being held up from some stupid government office, that wants more and more papers everytime i go there with all requested papers.
So, is there a way, I can have a long term fatherhood visa without being married?
Do I have to have 400k on a thai bank account? I could scratch up that money but is there a way to do it without the money?
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about the possibility of obtaining a long-term visa for fatherhood of their two-month-old son, who is recognized as their child on the Thai birth certificate. They are facing delays in their marriage process due to administrative issues and want to know whether it is feasible to secure this visa without being married or having a substantial amount of money (400,000 THB) in a Thai bank account.
