Hi ๐Ÿ‘‹

I am from the UK and I came to Thailand on a 30 day visa exemption, then received a 30 day extension which expires 18th January. I am in Koh Phangan and would like to be able to get a 90 day extension so I can stay until April, is this possible? If not, is 60 days possible?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated โค๏ธ

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user from the UK is seeking advice on extending their stay in Thailand, currently holding a 30-day visa exemption with a 30-day extension expiring on January 18th. They inquire about the possibility of obtaining a 90-day extension or a 60-day extension, and the response indicates that while an additional 30-day extension is not officially available, there is a possibility to apply for a 60-day extension based on exceptional circumstances, though this may be rejected.

You came for 30 days and got 30 days extra, that is it. Official there is no more extension available on an Visa Exempt Entry.

You might try to apply for the 60 days Extension of Stay based on unable to travel but that is a curtesy of the Immigration and may be rejected, prepare yourself.

Phangan is one of the best places to get the "Covid extension" right now, the immigration over there is more relaxed for this kind of things. Of course you can be rejected, but I think you have good chances!
