Hello everyone,

I’ve never gone to do my visa extension by myself before, and the time has come. But I’m not sure about a few things and hope you can help:

1) If I have my non-b visa until the 16th of September, can I go to extend it on the 15th of September?

2) Can I make an appointment at the immigration at the moment and just come at a specific time, I think that was a thing before? If so where can I find a link to do that? Or I have to go there and wait in line?

Im extending my visa in Chaengwattana Bangkok.

Thank you very much in advance!

The user is seeking guidance on extending their non-B visa in Thailand. They ask if it's possible to extend their visa on its expiration date and if they can make an appointment at immigration to avoid waiting in line.

You can, but I highly recommend NOT waiting for the last moment, just in case you need extra documents. You can renew up to 45 days ahead.

It's first come, first serve.

You are extending a one year extension of stay based on employment, correct?

You will need most of the documents (proof of employment, gps/map location of your house (or the school/place of employment), various signed letters of proof from your employer) to be written in Thai (and some, such as your contract in both English and Thai) .....

Do you have all of the required paperwork already that you know of??

ooookay

Depending on your immig. Office, they might "need" a Thai person with you ...

Definitely suggest you go in the next week or so....

That way, as mentioned, if there's a problem they'll give you time to organize the solution.
