Maybe someone can relate and looking for some clarity, sharing the experience today.

Arrived 7am, finished 6pm. Non B visa canceled yesterday, went to Chaengwattana to get 30 days extension, Philippine passport holder.

Submitted a Visa Extension Form at N1 counter with passport photo, photo copies of passport biometric page, TM6, last visa stamp and last entry stamp plus the cancelation of visa stamp with your signature on each page, and a letter from the Embassy. Then paid 1900 THB. No questions asked. Only thing missing was a photo copy of my visa transfer page (new passport). Was asked to copy and returned to the same officer. Done in 15mins, got my 30 days extension.

The only confusion was when getting a queue number. I went to the regular line but was told to go to Business Visa line (there’s a sign). Then I was told to go back again to the regular line to get a queue number and if the staff refuse again, call his attention, which I did because they refer me again to Business Visa line but the officer saw me and assisted and advised the staff. Make sure to present the letter from the embassy immediately as they will automatically advise you of 7 days extension only after checking your visa.

Hope that helps!

(Too much people at Immigration, you’re putting yourself at risk, not much social distancing, protect yourself)

This Extension of Stay with an Embassy letter, used in an Emergency is not daily trained. Things could go not as smooth as normal as thousands of people did not manage to find a way back home.
